Tres Tipos Gráficos is a Madrid-based design studio founded by Alberto Salván and Nicolás Reyners. Originally focused on cultural projects, we export our knowledge working with artists, curators, architects and designers to projects related to Branding, Product Design, Visual Communication and Retail.

We craft unique projects through solid concepts and contemporary aesthetics. We find new approaches in order to challenge design codes and to explore new visual languages.

Our work has been recognized with awards such as Gràffica - Best Design and Visual Culture 2015, D&AD Award wood pencil (London) 2015, several ADG Laus between 2010 and 2019, Top Fedrigoni Award (Parma) 2013, a Type Directors Club (New York) 2012 distinction, and a PHotoEspaña award to the Best Photobook 2012, among others.

Both partners have a longtime career as teachers in IED Madrid in Branding, Visual Identity and Master Course direction. They also collaborate as lecturers and workshops with Universidad Europea de Madrid, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Espositivo Academy, Mr Marcel School, Esdesign Barcelona and Blank Paper among others.

This catalogue was published for the exhibition "Sin Título. La Colección Telefónica como nunca se ha visto". Created for children, this exhibition by the Fundación Telefónica brought together 70 paintings, photographs and sculptures. The original pieces shared the space with other didactic formats designed to introduce children to art and its creators.

We traded in the classic catalog for a large notebook with exercises designed to help children learn to think and create like artists. The eighteen activities therein encourage children to explore using different techniques, from manual to conceptual and creative elaboration. The end of the book has a section for adults containing a complete description of each of the eighteen works found in the catalog and their respective artists.

In collaboration with Fundación Telefónica, editor Gonzalo Golpe and illustrator Puño created and designed each activity, making each of the catalog’s experiences unique and representative of the artist.
